This is a “public awareness” blog to make parents of my school community aware that they simply aren’t getting the information about their children’s health class that should otherwise be voluntarily forthcoming. Without it, children are unwittingly put into the awkward position of having to participate in discussions that go far beyond the birds and the bees.  Maybe some parents are ok with that; this site is for those who aren’t.

This is also a vehicle to voice a collective request for being provided this information so that we can make an informed decision as to whether or not to opt our children out of the human sexuality component of the program and let them do the alternate activity instead.
